“Jom Baca Bersama 10 Minit 2021” Program

The UMS Library Department has organized the “Jom Baca Bersama 10 Minit 2021” Program on 22 April 2021. This program was held simultaneously throughout Malaysia to support the government’s efforts in fostering a reading culture among the staff and students of Universiti Malaysia Sabah and the surrounding community.

The ceremony began with the singing of Negaraku and Sabah Tanah Airku, a speech by the Chief Librarian of UMS, followed by a speech by the Vice-Chancellor of UMS, Jom Baca Bersama 10 Minit 2021 Program, and ended with the song Bertekad Cemerlang.

At the level of Centre of Data & Information Management UMS (PPDM), this program has been announced to all staff via email and the Department Meeting. All staff is encouraged to participate in the program. Hopefully, organizing such a program can cultivate a reading culture in UMS residents, especially PPDM staff.
