Hence, PPDM strives for data quality improvement, which includes data collection and cleansing, to meet UMS ongoing information needs.

PPDM strives for data quality improvement, which includes data collection and cleansing, to meet UMS ongoing information needs. PPDM is tasked to employ data analytics for business or corporate intelligence to enable the top management of UMS to make effective data-driven business decisions. The PPDM teams of experts collectively have over 15 years of experience in providing solutions related to big data analytics, knowledge discovery, artificial intelligence, machine learning and optimization.
PPDM also offer its services to other parties, with particular focus on providing Big Data solutions in agriculture, healthcare, bio-diversity, tourism, security, social networks and also education.
OUR FUNCTIONS
- The main stakeholder of UMS Intergrated Information System (SMBU).
- To provide platforms to collect data, statistics, information analysis and business intelligence or corporate intelligence to support strategic planning, management and decision making at all level of university’s corporate matters.
- To prepare necessary information and report that are management-friendly to the top management of the University.
- To perform data coordination, update and preparation (structured and unstructured) for the purpose of University’s ranking such as SETARA, MyMOHES, HRMIS and MyRA.
- To made available Management/ Executive Information Databases that integrates internal and external data/ information to support the University’s data and strategic information requirements.
- To generate various reports to meet the demands of information from the University community and external agencies.
