iOS Workshop

iOS Essentials Development Course, a 5-day training course was held on 13 – 17 August 2018 at Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Universiti Malaysia Sabah. The training course was one of the program to be attended by UMS staff to fulfil the requirement as stated in “Pekeliling Perkhidmatan Bilangan 6 Tahun 2005 Dasar Latihan Sumber Manusia Sektor Awam”.

Meanwhile, it was a fruitful training program organized by UMS Human Resource Development Sector aimed to broaden the horizon of knowledge as well as to polish technical skills among UMS staffs. There were about 20 participants who joined this training course. The trainer who demonstrate throughout the training course was the renowned dedicated master trainer, Mr. Farizshah Gaskin. He is the CEO and founder of Tracdisk Technogreen Sdn Bhd, a company which is dedicated to expanding coding skills to everyone regardless of their background.

Generally, the training course covers the latest method of iOS mobile apps development and the publishing of apps to the App Store. There were sufficient number of iMac in the lab to use by the trainees. In a nut shell, the training course was so fruitful that trainees who were fresh to Swift language became interested and into to the iOS mobile apps design and development. Hopefully, there will be more similar training course being origanized in the future.
