Internal Pre-Audit Workshop 1/2019

On 7th and 8th Mar 2019, Internal Pre-Audit on MyRA Data was organized in Seminar Room, Department of Information Technology & Communication. It was attended by MyRA internal auditors, Centre of Data and Information Management staffs who served as MyRA secretariat, as well as data owners from various departments.

The motivation of this event is to allow internal auditors to examine and assess the data provided by data owners, in which the data are requested by Ministry of Education Malaysia. In order to collect MyRA data for this year, an internal MyRA system was developed. The objectives to develop the system are:

• To collect list of data provided by data owners with respect to the sections in MyRA system of Ministry of Education Malaysia.
• To allow data owners to upload documentary evidences.
• To provide a space for MyRA internal auditors to drop a note regarding to the data and evidences provided by data owners.

As a result of this event, data owners are required to refine the data and documentary evidences according to the comments from internal auditors.
