Award for Smart-Hadir @ ISAS2019

In line with KRA 9 UMS Transformation Towards University / Industry 4.0, PPDM has developed a Smart-Hadir system to capture student attendance. The advantage of Smart-Hadir is that it combines various technologies including QR codes, Beacons, Near Field Communication (NFC) and more in one application. The system has made it easier for lecturers to monitor student attendance and generates report of attendance by the end of the semester. The system is also designed to be used to capture the presence of staff, digital ID and so on.

On November 4, 2019, Smart-Hadir has won the Sabah Public Sector Innovation Award (ISAS) 2019 in the ICT Innovation and Cultural Innovation Award.
